Liability for content

As a service provider, I am responsible for my own content on these pages in accordance with § 7 (1) DDG and general law. According to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, I am not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement becomes known. As soon as I become aware of such infringements, I will remove the content immediately.

Content created by players

Usernames, guest nicknames and chat messages are created by the players themselves and are not checked by a person in advance. The in-game chat is not moderated or monitored: messages are only visible to the two players of a game. An automatic filter blocks links, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and social-media handles and hides severe insults; players can switch messages off and block other players at any time. The rules for players are described in the terms of use.

Point of contact and reporting illegal content (Digital Services Act)

Single point of contact for authorities, the European Commission and users under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act): requests@bugfish.eu. Languages: German and English.

To report illegal content (Article 16 DSA), for example an offensive or unlawful username or chat message, please write to this address and include: why you consider the content illegal; where exactly it is (link of the game, username, date and time — a screenshot helps, as chat messages are not archived); your name and e-mail address; and a statement that your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You will receive a confirmation and a decision. Reported names and accounts are removed or restricted as described in the terms of use.

Liability for links

This website contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents I have no influence. Therefore, I cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; illegal content was not recognisable at that time. Permanent monitoring of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. If I become aware of any infringements, I will remove such links immediately.
